Christmas Present for the Parents, Grandparents, etc

Here's the front page and January pages of the calendars I created for the family this year for Christmas presents. Each one was slightly different as I tried to put in as many birthdays, anniversarys, etc that pertained to that family member.

All were created using Stampin' Up!'s My Digital Studio, and all I can say is that they came out beautifully, the quality was fabulous, I was in awe and can't wait to start using my calendar in just another 2 weeks!!!

Our next little MNM

Using the retired Stampin' Up! Special Delivery Girl Simply Scrappin Kit, and retired Bundle of Joy stamp set, retired monogram M, and current A Beautiful Thing stamp set. The mini VSBN for Nov 21, 2009 gave me a great opportunity to find a starting point for our new little bundle of joy.

I used the Rock and Roll technique and also the Kissing Technique to do these pages.

Colors used are Very Vanilla Textured CS Base, River Rock, Apricot Appeal, and Groovy Guava. Same colors are used for stamping, since these colors all coordinate with the SS Kit.

You can view all details about the "Rockin' through the Decades" challenges here

I know this is choppy but I just needed a place to get it posted!

Ornaments Featured at Fall Stamping Party

Hi All, here are a couple of the ornaments I will be putting on display at my Fall Stamping Party held on Nov 15 and Nov 18.

These are very quick and simple to make. For both you just need some of your favorite holiday colored DSP or Cardstock, the Pretties Kit, and some ribbon.

For the first one you will also need the Ornament Punch featured in the Current Holiday Mini. It's such a fun punch and I plan to show you a few more card samples made with it as well.

To duplicate either of these projects you will need the following supplies

Favorite DSP or Cardstock
Favorite Ribbon and/or Cord

Item                       Item#    Price          Catalog
Pretties Kit:          109114  $29.95   IB&C p. 178
Ornament Punch: 116794  $15.95    Holiday Mini p. 25

Pretties Kit

Price: $29.95
Use this versatile kit to embellish all of your works of art! Halloween Hybrid Card

This is my card for a monthly swap I am in, I don't usually make Halloween cards, but am so pleased with how this one turned out. I actually used My Digital Studio to print out the Cast A Spell DSP and also the spider and hat, as I don't have the Eat, Drink and Be Scary stamp set. I then stamped the cat and Spooky Nights sentiment from the Halloween Firghts Set in Jet Black Stazon. I also sprayed the background Old Olive paper and Perfect Plum Cardstock with a shimmer spray made from our new Frost White Shimmer Paint and 70% Alcohol mixture. It looks so cool.

The center panel is popped up with dimensionals and I used the word window punch to punch through the top piece and stamped the Spooky Nights sentiment on the inside (using the Stamp A Majig for perfect placement). And the frightful fence wheel was the perfect thing for the piece of Perfect Plum, also rolled on with Black Stazon.

Ok so this post is a little disjointed, but I am still trying to get with it.

Another MDS creation

Here's another creation using MDS.  This one I will be sending off to the printer, to complete my Stampin' Up! MDS certification course.  What's great about MDS is it allows me the chane to use Stamps, DSP, embelishments that I do not already own.  So I had a nice time playing with the Winter Post stamp set, and elements from the Jingle SS Kit.

Inside of cover

Right side of inside

The back cover will be white, with the Stampin' Up and MDS logo's as required by SU.

I can't wait to get the actual card back in my hands and see how well the elements compare to actual cardstock, DSP, etc.

To create this project all you need is your own copy of MDS
Item # 118108          Price $79.95

You can order this directly through my website by clicking the shop now link below, or call/email me with your orders.
